Background changes color

This is probably a newbie question, but in my Captivate 2019 pages, the background seems to look nice until I move my mouse over the slide then blocks of the background changes to white.  How do I remedy this?  Thanks!

    Would love to help you but need some more details. Which version do you use, you find the number under Help, About Captivate.

    Background = what do you mean by this term? Is it really a background image which is used as fill under Custom Background for the slide? I show a screenshot of the Properties panel for a slide, where the fbackground is set to an Image fill.

    You talk about hovering over the slide: in which situation? While Previewing HTML in Browser? After publishing?
