Background Image Distorted on Mobile (C8)

I have created an responsive project and loaded a high quality image as the background for a class, which is intended to be a mobile class. When I am in Captivate, I have laid it out to look like this (I know it is kind of ugly, it is what the client asked for...):

But, when I publish it and post it on my site, then view it on my phone, it looks like this:

The image looks fine on my iPad and on the computer, it's just the mobile view that is screwed up. I have turned off compression and have the position set to Auto size and smart position. Any suggestions? The client wants this to be a mobile class. It shows like this on an iPhone 6 on Chrome and Safari both, the image shows fine on an Android Galaxy S6. Pretty frustrated here!
