Background volume disparity

Hello Captivaters.

Im getting a wee bit frustrated with the way Captivate manages volume from slide to slide and i know its been the case for some time.  But can anyone tell me a way to level off the background audio so that its consistent?  Ive noticed when I play the slide individually it all plays nicely within the project.  But if I play it as a published or series its all over the place.  I did notice that the slides that are sounding louder are the ones recorded as video.  Ive tried all sorts of adjusting in the sound edit window...and being that its supposed to be one sound across all slides I cant see what else I can do to the audio itself.  Its something with the slide it seems. Im using Captivate 6.
