Hi,

I am updating a course to HTML5. When I check the publish to HTML5, I notice that I get a black border around all types of clickable objects when I click on them (click boxes, shapes that are used as buttons, etc.), this in several types of internet browser (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge).

Is there any way to get rid of these black borders?

For me it is blue but that can be different. Take out that border using Preferences, Project, Publish Settings. It is the default setup to hide that rectangle, but maybe someone else has unchecked the option because it is necessary for accessibility.
