Does anyone know how to replay a part of the slide video in Adobe captivate 2023? I created bookmarks to jump back to where the particular part starts, but it freezes when the video gets to the bookmark.

Does anyone know how to replay a part of the slide video in Adobe captivate 2023? I created bookmarks to jump back to where the particular part starts, but it freezes when the video gets to the bookmark.

Coincidence! Since a couple of weeks I try to check out the use of bookmarks in the new version to see if they can indeed realize all what I used to do with Micro-navigation and for menus in Interactive video. It is a very frustrating process and reason why I give up regularly.

I just added a couple of bookmarks and buttons to a slide video in version 12, and they seem to be working. Can you explain your workflow so far?

Coincidence! I also added a few bookmarks and "add new action" -> "More" -> "Jump to bookmark". I wanted the video to keep playing when it jumps to the bookmark, but it didn't play.

So, I added an action to the bookmark (the second one) and said "resume timeline" hoping that it would make the video play. I would appreciate it if you could give me some tips here.

You could also read from my first comment that I find the bookmarks in CP12 very limited and frustrating to use. Both Pause Timeline and Resume TImeline don't do what I expect, and there is also Stop Media and Play Media.

I created some bookmarks on a slide video. I added a button interactive block and an interaction for the button to Jump to Bookmark. Video played immediately when on the new bookmark. ANother one of my frustrations is that each bookmarks seems to expect an interaction, whereas when you need a bookmark in its original meaning that makes no sense. I will try to finish my blog soon because - sorry - I am fed up with the many restrictions in CP12, when comparing with workflows in version 11.5.
