Branch Aware and pausing the training

I am using Captivate 8. I understand the forward and backward buttons being disabled when Branch Aware is selected for the quizzing but the Play/Pause button is also disabled. A user has to be able to pause the training. Any suggestions on how to add a Pause/Play option with Branch Aware enabled?
