Branch Aware for Captivate 8 NaN Results

Hello,

I am currently trying to get a branch aware to work on a project for my department. The quiz consists of 40 generalize questions, that are then broken off into branch aware. The branch aware consists of 12 different section in the department. Each section has a different amount of questions compared to the others, but the final score for all should be 100. It worked previously under another employee who is no longer with the company, so I cannot ask how they did it. It seems another employee changed a question to mess it up previously, that's why I am reaching out right now.

    Branch Aware Quiz - Captivate blog

    I hope you are using the latest version of CP8 (8.0.3).  It is a version I have not on my system anymore.

    Hi Lilybiri,

    I will start from the beginning.

    I work for an insurance company that has different departments. One particular department, Care Coordination, has different subsets of areas within their department (such as Behavioral Health, a Maternity area, High ER usage, etc. When a new hire comes into the company, they must go through training with that department. So, it was suggested that the department make a captivate where the first 40 questions dealt with questions that must be answered by everyone, no matter what area they are in. This is where the branch aware comes into play. Now, there are 12 different areas within the department where they are branched off into their respective questions that are now only related to those areas only. Previously, we had another trainer work on this branch aware and it worked out beautifully. Unfortunately, he is no longer with the company. Since he left, one of the other trainers who have no experience with branching decided to change one of the questions, and it messed everything up. They reached out to me saying they are now seeing an NaN status and they cannot record the module onto our LMS. I have been reading into your blog and it is very informative. However, I do not have the latest version of Captivate 8, so I am hoping maybe you could offer some help in any way?

    I don't have CP8 anymore, that is the problem at this moment (used to have all versions until the subscription appeared). You should upgrade to avoid the early bugs. I don't see why changing one question would ruin the Branch aware. Can you put some tracking variables on the first question, timed for the rest of the file? I am thinking about cpQuizInfoPointsscored.

    For which fields do you get the NaN on the score slide?
