Branching in a quiz

I've set up 3 questions. On question 1 you can jump to question 2 or 3 by selecting the button for q2 and then pressing Submit, i want you to go to Q3 if you choose that option and then click Submit as well.

I've set up each question by clicking on 'advanced' and putting feedback for each answer and then using 'jump to slide'

The idea is that the quiz isnt scored but when the user clicks on an option they get the feedback for that option and then jump to the slide i want.

However it always always goes in sequence. I have W/A set to infinite (so its not set to continue) but even if i choose option 3 on question 1 (Under advanced its set to 'jump to slide 3') i then move on a page.

I just cant get the branching (jumping) correct in this non-scored quiz ??

Any ideas ?

    When I got Captivate 2 I mocked up somethig like this and it failed immediately. That was why I skipped Captivate 1 from the RoboDemo translation. My work around was a bit odd and perhaps this will help you?

    You MUST go forward after a quiz. So you do this... The Quiz goes to the next slide on FAIL or the two slides ahead on PASS.

    Quiz
    Fail Message Slide
    Pass - this would be the next slide on a correct answer to the Quiz

    The Fail slide has a message like:
    "Sorry, that was not the correct answer..."
    You then have a button like "Continue" that links to whatever you want, including going backwards.

    HOWEVER -- On the LAST Quiz question the order must be this way:
    Last Quiz Question
    Quiz Summary (if Question was correct)
    Fail Message Slide
    You can have more (like a credits screen) after this, but it usually ends with the Quiz Summary

    Good idea, tried that but still the same

    Whats really frustrating is that Q1 works fine, if i choose 'go to Q3' on the first question it goes straight to Q3.

    But then on Q3 if i choose either 'goto Q1' or 'goto Q2' it just hangs .

    There are slides after this but it just hangs. Feel i'm close but i think its looking more like a Captivate bu..., sorry 'feature' !

    If you're allowing unlimited attempts on each question slide, branching should work.

    Did you enable the "Allow backwards movement" option in the Quiz preferences?

    Had a search but couldnt find anything definite. Really need this working tonight otherwise have to do the slow version of this.

    I've got Q1 working, on Q1 theres options for Q2 and Q3, if i choose Q3 it jumps straight to Q3 (great), on Q3 theres options for Q1 and Q2 but they dont work.

    Frustrating !!!

    This is the way our older quizzes work, and we used authorware/flash. I have not found a work-around in C3, but would LOVE to see if this functionality exists. However, I am quite certain that this question has reared its' head several times in this forum. Have you tried searching for it?

    The advanced answer branching doesnt seem to work ? Any ideas ?
