Branching Question

I am a new user to Captivate that is trying to create eLearning course. I have slides set up that will include dialog and I want the user to either be able to click on box to learn more about that specific tool, or click "Next" to move on in the presentation. How do I do this? I set up branching, but the slide that I have it branched to is considered the next slide, even though I only want them to see it if they click on to learn more.

    You always use a Theme, don't forget that. But you can turn off the playbar, that is correct.

    You'll need several buttons:

    On the slide 'Learn more about Lean': probably two buttons, one that will go to the Next slide (The History) and one that will skip that slide. To come back, you add Return buttons on those slides.

    There is a panel labeled 'Branching View' that will show you the different branches. Long time ago I wrote about it:

    You will have to forget about the default playbars, and use custom navigation buttons.  The Back/Next buttons on the playbars cannot do that. You'll need to use the Actions tab to trigger the correct navigation (Jump to...) for each slide. You can use normal buttons, click boxes or shape buttons.

    Branch aware is possible for quizzes, but that is not what you need here.

    Thank you for your quick response! I figured out how to use just regular buttons. I'm not using a template or default play bar. My problem is that I have a slide that shows "The History of Lean/Six-Sigma" that I only want to be displayed if the user hits on the previous slide "Learn more about Lean". Is it possible for a slide to have multiple branches that loop back?
