Branching quiz

I am trying to create a course that has two versions of a short quiz, one in English and one in Finnish. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get the settings right so that the learner can choose which quiz to take and so that the score for the quiz that the learner took is displayed.

In the slide before the quiz (slide 6), I have inserted two buttons, one for each language. I have set the Finnish button properties so that when the button is clicked, the learner is taken to slide 7 (the first of the three questions in Finnish). I have set the English button properties so that when the button is clicked, the learner is taken to slide 10 (the first of the three questions in English).

On the third and last Finnish question slide (#9), I clicked on "Edit Question" and on the "options" tab set it so that the learner would jump to slide 13 (the quiz results page) when successfully answering or incorrectly answering (though I've also checked the "show retry message" box so that the learner has 4 chances to get the correct answer). When the learner submits their answer to the question on slide 9, however, they are led to slide 10 (the first of the English version of the quiz) and not their results.

Also, when the learner clicks on the English button, nothing happens (i.e. they are not taken to slide 10).

The quiz results page shows a score for a 6 question quiz, not a 3 question quiz.

Can someone help me?

Hi Art,

Have you thought of breaking up your single Captivate project into 3 smaller and simpler projects?

Project one could be a simple slide with 2 buttons, button one in English and button two in Finnish. Clicking button one takes the user to the English quiz, button two takes the user to the Finnish quiz.

Just a thought, this might not be a suitable option in an LMS system. I'd have to think about it a bit and right now I have a meeting to go to.

Cheers,
