Bug in 11.8.1 inserting PIP video, audio is removed

The newest release of Captivate has a bug.  When inserting a PIP video to a CPVC project, the process seems the same as the previous version, there is a step of extracting the audio visible, however, once the video is finished importing/inserting, the audio is not available:  It does not playback with the inserted video.  The audio is not in the library.  HOWEVER, in the library, the "thumbnail" at the top has a play button, and the audio can be heard as the preview plays.

The only workaround I can think of is to extract the audio manually outside of Captivate and import it separately into the CPVC project and add it from the library to the appropriate PIP.

Any other ideas?  Am I missing something?  (Btw, this occurred in a colleague's install.  I had not executed this task in my own update, yet, but both install updates behave the same.)

Update.  I tried publish an MP4 with audio from a CPTX project using 11.8.1, works fine.  Tried inserting that new MP4 into the CPVC project, and the audio is stripped.  So Captivate 11.8.1 doesn't even play nice with it's own MP4.

How did you test? Was this with a preview method or after publishing and uploading to a webserver?  Which browser did you use for testing?

In a CPVC project the audio is embedded in the video.

    Hi Lilybiri,

This is during the edit of the CPVC, inserting a PIP.  I use a CPVC template (a very short video recording of a desktop with our company logo), which I created in order to add PIP videos that I can splice (split/trim and fit together) for a final video that I then publish. I was making an updated version of one such project, starting with my "blank" template.  In the project using the prior version of Captivate, the PIP in the timeline shows the audio icon after insertion, and preview in the timeline includes the audio. ((The audio is also visible in the library.)  In the new 11.8.1 version the inserted PIP doesn't show the audio icon, nor is the audio visible in the library. However, if I select the inserted PIP in the library (under Media) the "thumbnail" has a play button, and the audio is present when played from there.
