Bullet Points When Importing PP Into Captivate 5

I am trying to import a PowerPoint presentation I created using Office PowerPoint 2010 into Captivate 5.  When I import my PowerPoint, some of the bullet points are keeping the hanging values and some are not, so in other words, my bullet points are not aligning correctly on all of the slides.  What adjustments do I need to make in PowerPoint 2010 so that all of my bullet points will import correctly and look uniformlly aligned on every slide?

Thanks!

    Hi,

I've started using separate text boxes for bulleted lists in PowerPoint as a way to make sure the list will import cleanly into Captivate.  So for a PPT page with a block paragraph, followed by a bulleted list, followed by a block paragraph, I'm using three seperate text boxes. Which is a pain, yes, but it seems to work.  Open to better ideas...

    Hello there,

The steps Zoooot suggested might also work. Post captivate 5 release we have two releases where we fixed/improved lot of issues related to PPTX import. I would also suggest you to download a trial of Captivate 6 and try the PPTX workflow, and let us know your thoughts regarding your usecase.

    Thanks.

Thank you all!  I spent about an hour on the phone yesterday with a technical representative at Adobe and we figured out that basically Captivate 5 has this glich, but Captivate 6 corrects the problem.  I am going to try to see if I can get an upgrade.  Thank you to everyone for your assistance!

    Hello there,

Can you try changing the fonts in PowerPoint and see if that helps to keep the bullets intact?

    Thanks,

    Vish

Thank you, Vish, for the suggestion!  I did try that, but it didn't work.  Still have the same problem.
