Button Clicks

Hello,

I have Captivate 3. Is there a way to have no sound when a user clicks a button (text or image or transparent)? I can remove the click for mouse clicks in demos but cannot figure it out for buttons.

Thank you,

Amanda

The answer is to replace the Mouse.mp3 file located in the C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Captivate 3\Gallery\Mouse\ClickSounds folder. I recommend downloading a no sound mouse click from the following Web site (of course you could also create your own):

I'm using Cap4, so I'm not sure this is there in Cap3, but it's worth a shot!  Open the button properties dialog box, button tab, and in the second region labeled "if the user clicks/on success" there should be a check box in the lower left corner to turn off button click sounds.

Hope it was there in Cap 3!

    Good Luck!

Sorry, that feature emerged with version 4.

Below is the dialog for version 3.

    Cheers... Rick
