Question

Buttons don't work on iPad

This is really bad: buttons created in Captivate 9 -- both Mac and Windows versions -- and exported to HTML5 work fine in any browser, but the buttons don't work on an iPad running iOS 9, though they do seem to be working on an iPad with iOS 8.

If I create a new, blank project with 2 slides and have a button on slide 1 with an action to jump to slide 2 and a button on slide 2 with an action to jump to slide 1, the buttons do not work in iOS 9. It makes no difference if I choose the option to scale content or not, and the HTML5 Tracker panel doesn't show any errors. On the iPad, I've tested in Safari and Chrome.

I even tried turning this test file into a full-fledged iPad app and installed it on my device. Got the same results.

Has anyone gotten buttons created in CP 9 to work on an iPad with iOS 9?

Hi,

I tried this scenario on ipad air running iOS 9 but was not able to reproduce the issue. May be I am missing something. To verify the issue, can you share your sample project at adtiwari@adobe.com.

Regards,

Aditya
