Question

Buttons go inactive when video is done?

I have 3 buttons on my last slide that are linked to URL's. I figured out how to keep the last slide displayed when the video is over, however my buttons with the links go inactive. How do I keep them active once the video has finished playing?

Thanks.

Hi there JavierMIT and welcome to our community

One thing to check is to see if you have prevented the project from continuing after any of the Buttons have been clicked. Edit the properties and look to the right of where you specify the URL. You should see a down arrow. Click it and DE-select the "Continue playing project" option.

Also keep in mind that with Buttons, one click is all you get. So if the slide has been paused and you click the button, you cannot click it again. Click Boxes are different. You may repeatedly click these guys and they dutifully carry out their assigned actions. So you may wish to reconsider the Button approach and opt for Click Boxes instead.

    Cheers... Rick

Hi Rick, thanks for the quick response!

That option works perfectly! I also took your advice and changed them to Click Boxes, subtle difference but definitely worth it. Thanks again and have a great weekend!

Hi, I have the same problem. I want the follwoing. After clicking on a button or click field, the user should come back to the same point and should be able to to exactly the same or choose another button. I tried with click filed, but the button can only be used once.

    Any idea?
