Buttons in hidden groups (Captivate 9)

I have created a page containing a hidden group. A button in the top menu of the page pauses the project and shows the hidden group.

The group contains an image with three different states, three buttons and a text caption.

One of the buttons is transparent and placed above the text caption. The action set for this button is to hide the group again and continue the project.

The two other buttons are meant to navigate back and forth between the image states.

So far, so good.

When I preview the course, the hidden group appears after clicking the assigned button, as expected.

However, when I click the buttons in the group, I only hear the click sound. The actions are not performed.

What am I doing wrong? Am I not supposed to use buttons in groups?

Please, help me!

Kristian

I just tried to create your issue but am not able to do so. You use normal buttons, not shape buttons which require sometimes to be enabled after showing them. There is no inactive part in the buttons, and I presume you unchecked 'Continue playing the project' if you used a simple action (like for the close button to hide the group). Is the group, displayed for the rest of the project, set to be always on top? Are the three buttons disabled, including the close button, or only the buttons to change the state? The states are for an image, can you post a screenshot of the state view?

I could send you the project file.

No, thanks. I'm just a user like you, trying to help other users in my free time. But I'm also a consultant, don't accept files to debug.
