Happy New Year! May 2018 be your healthiest and happiest yet!

I just purchased Adobe Captivate 2018. My question is, can Adobe Captivate 2017 be used as an App for Androids and iPhones? I would especially like to take advantage of the interactive and quiz tools.

Thanks

I am a bit confused. If you talk about creating an app from a Captivate responsive project, the answer is Yes: look under the Publish button for that option. It is using PhoneGap and you'll need certificates to publish. That is about a standalone app.

Mobile devices can also access a Captivate published course which is hosted on a LMS (with reporting of Quiz and other reults) or on a webserver. In that case it is also better to create a responsive project.

If you talk about using Captivate as an appication to develop eLearning, the answer is different. For iPad, there is a Captivate Draft app which you can download from the Apple store. It is meant to be used as preparation, like a storyboard, to be sent to the full application Captivate (on dekstip/laptop) to finish and to publish.
