Can an Articulate file be imported into Captivate?

    What do you mean? StoryLine or Studio, published?  What is the format of the published file? Maybe you could ask in the Articulate forums?

    What type of project: blank or responsive, to HTML5 or to SWF output?

    I have this same question - how to import storyline2, published into Captivate 2017

    I don't think you can...

    Well, if you can publish a Storyline project as a video, then you can import that video into the project.

    Or if you publish the Storyline project to HTML and put it on a webserver, you could use the Web Object to load that Storyline output into an iframe within the Captivate project.

    OR you could output the Storyline project to SWF, then import the SWF into Captivate...if you really want to stick with SWF for some reason.

    But other than that, they are two completely different proprietary programs by two different companies - there is no way to import the one project file into the other's program.
