I am new to Captivate but would like to ask if an image carousel can be done in Captivate. Thank you.

If you mean by 'image carrousel' a looping image show and you are on Captivate 9, the easiest ways is to put all images in one object as states. Create then a butotn (or a shape button or a click box) with the action 'Go to Next State'. Be sure to uncheck the option 'Continue Playing the Project'.

There is also a learning interaction 'Carrousel', that works both for video and images. But I suspect only in 9 as well.

If you are not on Captivate 9, have a look at this blog post:

The learning interaction is a decent one.

Lilybiri's solution is also good, but you don't get the sliding effect (image moving to the left and coming in from the other side later) that you get with most carrousels.

Sure, Ryan but I didn't know which version of CP was used, and the Carrousel interaction was added in CP9.

I know.  Yours is a good pre-9 solution.  Actually the Carrousel interaction isn't that great either because it tends to flicker when you reach the page its on.

Thanks very much for your answer. I will have a look on the learning interaction and see how it can be used. Thanks again.
