Hello everyone,

I am using Adobe Captivate 8. I'm wondering if Captivate 8 would allow me to open a software simulation slide as an open in new window link with it's own page dimensions?

Thank you.

Not as part of the same project.  You would have to create that simulation in a different CPTX file and publish it to a location that could be reached using the Open URL or File action, then specify in the link options in Captivate that the web page should be opened in a new window.

However, be aware that, if you are delivering this content from an LMS, opening another window will sometimes terminate communication between the LMS and the original content, leading to issues with scoring and completion status not being reported to the LMS.

Thanks for the input. Since we are not using an LMS it might be a viable option.

Come to think of it, I don't even know what an LMS interface looks like.
