Can I attach a PDF to the playbar in Captivate 9??

Hello,

I have only been using captivate a few months. I learned how to attach a PDF to an object or click box in my presentation but can I also attach to the play bar in Captivate 9? Our former trainer has all our library items set up this way and I do not know how she did it. I suspect she used an adobe presenter plug in for powerpoint then just converted the powerpoint in a very old version of captivate but I am unsure....  Please help!

    Can you post a screenshot of that setup? Normally there is no way to attach such items to the playbar, without programming. Maybe it is not on the playbar, could have a better idea if you show that screenshot.

    there is an advanced action that is called "open url or file" you can simply attach to a button.  should be all you need..
