Can I get a slide to show up as a Topic Name in the TOC?

I am using Adobe Captivate 8. My question is,

  • Can I get a slide to show up as a Topic in the Table of Contents?
  • What exactly does the Expand Icon and Collapse Icon do?

    I don't understand your question? If you label the slide, when creating the TOC the slide name will appear. You can also directly edit the names in the TOC as well, and create a hierarchy with groups (grouped slides will automatically appear) and subgroups.

    Sorry my question was not clear. I guess the topic slide does not hold a slide in itself.
