Question

Can I hide a mouse?

Hello,

I am working on a hybrid demo/training module and would like to hide the mouse until the student fails to click the click box correctly, at which time I have the mouse perform the failed task.  Is there a wayto hide the mouse until the student fails?  I know I can add slides, etc, but would much rather use an advanced action if possible.

Thanks in advance,

Kelli

You cannot use Advanced Actions to hide the mouse object.  Hiding the mouse on a given slide and then jumping to another slide where the mouse object is visible would probably be your best bet.

Yeah... I was afraid of that.  I've considered doing a little image overlay, but that wouldn't be any quicker.  Thank you for your response!  LOL.  Have a great day.

Well, there actually might be a way to accomplish it using show hide. Bear with me,

You could create an image of a mouse pointer. Then treat it as you would any other image. Insert it on the slide, hide it, show it. Move it using animation.

Just a few thoughts from over here on the edge... Rick
