Can I remove the review buttons from a "Knowledge Check" master?

Hello,

I copied the multiple choice quiz slide master to use as my knowledge check multiple choice master.  Obviously, for knowledge check slides, you do not need the forward and backward review buttons.  Is it ok to delete these from the master slide or will that break something?

Thanks for any help!

Ryan

Actually, I thought I would check whether it was even possible to delete these items from the Master Slide anyway, and it appears that you cannot.  So moving them off screen is probably your ONLY option.

I don't understand this question. KC slides are reset after leaving the slide, will never be included in a Review process. That means the Review buttons will never appear. Unless  you are not talking about the Captivate KC slides, but just about normal quiz slides used as KC slides with a score set to 0.

Review buttons are embedded objects, like the other buttons. You shouldn't delete them but you can change their style, to make them invisible' to the user. Alternative to moving them off the stage. How will you let the user navigate during 'Review'?

There's no need to delete them since they won't ever get seen anyway.  They only appear during Quiz Review, and KC slides don't have that option.

If you think they are getting in the road somehow, just move them off into the scrap area.  As far as I know they are not essential to the operation of KC slides, but if for any reason your slides start to malfunction, and you suspect the reason has anything to do with these buttons, then you can just move them back onto the stage area. If you don't delete them, you always have this option open.
