Question

Can I score an assessment simulation?

I'm working on eLearning and I'd like to test my learners by having them work through an assessment I've recorded. Does Captivate let me keep score? How do I display that score after the exercise finishes?

thanks
Julie

Hi Julie and welcome to the Captivate community!

Yes, Captivate can keep score and optionally show a Quiz Summary page at the end of the assessment.

If you press the F9 key in Captivate, it will bring up the Advanced Interactions dialog that lets you specify the scoring options for each interaction in your project.

Captivate should also automatically display the Quiz Summary slide immediately after the last scored interaction. If it doesn't, you need to enable the Quiz Summary option in the Quiz preferences.

FYI - I'm assuming you just want to show the user how they did and not actually submit those results somewhere.

Doing centralized reporting of results is a much, MUCH bigger topic...
