Can I use Adobe Connect as a SCORM?

I realize this question is coming out of left field.  I realize that in Captivate's preferences for publishing to a SCORM one of them is Adobe Connect. My financial adviser used Adobe Connect to talk with me concerning my financial account. Great tool!

But as an Captivate subscriber that also has an Adobe Creative Cloud account, am I able to practice on Adobe Connect as a SCORM as a means of getting experience using a SCORM?

I see that there are fees for the cloud.scorm link.

Adobe Captivate has a built in integration with the SCORM Cloud LMS which you can get to via the Preview > Preview in SCORM Cloud menu items.  This comes at no extra cost when you purchase a Captivate license or subscription. However, I suggest you think of this option merely as a way to perform a quick test of how your project will look in an LMS.

You can also open up a free SCORM Cloud account of your own and test publish courses there by uploading zipped SCORM packages published out from Captivate.  Doing things this way gives you a lot more control.  The SCORM Cloud free account is limited in terms of how many courses you can load up there and how many megabytes those courses can be.  But I use it all the time.

Adobe Connect is not a part of Creative Cloud.

A 30-day trial account is offered:

Adobe Connect free trial

I don't know if it's fully functional.

And Connect isn't great with SCORM. If you want to practice with Captivate SCORM output, far better to setup a non-expiring account with SCORM Cloud (the engine of which Captivate uses for its own SCORM output):

https://cloud.scorm.com/

But if you want to actually test Connect, the trial link above is probably the best place to start.

Thanks for the links.

Is the cloud.scorm link part of Adobe? Does it cost anything?
