Can I use playback controls from Captivate 2 in Captivate 4?

I have a series of simulations that were created using Captivate 2. I had to make a variety of edits to just one of the simulations, and I did that using Captivate 4, as I no longer have Captivate 2. (I now have Captivate 4 and 5.)

Unfortunately, when I went to publish, I discovered that the playback controls that I used in Captivate 2 are no longer available in Captivate 4. This is an issue because all the simulations are part of a large course that has instructions on using the controls.


Also, even worse, in the original course, I had placed the controls at the top middle, over the Captivate simulation. It now appears that I can only place the controls above the simulation. The simulations were sized to fit into a particular space, and this adds to the size of the simulation.

Thus, my questions are:

(1) Is there any way in Captivate 4 to place the playback bar over the simulation, as I did in the previous simulations?

(2) Is there a way to use playback controls from previous versions in Captivate 4?

    Hello,

    As per your question, i beleive that you should be able to retaun features of your rpoject from CP 2 to CP 4. However if youa re unable to do that then you can follow the guidelines below.

    Open the RoboDemo files (*.rd) in Adobe Captivate 2 and save them as *.cp files. You can then open these *.cp files in Adobe Captivate 4 or later versions.

    Also to adjust the position of playback control  in CP 4, you can go to SKIN EDITOR under PROJECT TAB and adjust it accordingly,.
