How was the MP4 created and what were the settings?

    Hi Lilybiri,

I hope you have been well.

Thanks for getting back to me as i am trying to resolve this for my work project. The files were created using a panasonic camcorder when connected the camcorder to my machiine all the files were mts (High-definition MPEG Transport Stream video format, commonly called "AVCHD;" used by Sony, Panasonic, and other HD camcorders). We then used a video converter to save them as an MP4. I can play them from my machine using  VLC media player but cannot insert them into adobe. Please help me.

    Many thanks,

In all likelihood there is something about the format of the MP4 output from your video converter that is not acceptable for Captivate even though it may play quite well in some other app.  If you have Captivate then you should also have the Adobe Media Encoder application.  Look for it in your Programs menu. Open this app and pull your MP4 into it then output again as an MP4 but with a different name.  Since this AME application is from Adobe it should format the MP4 to be compatible with Cp.
