Can't change the font size or colour

This is very strange.

I've been working on a project for a few days.  All of a sudden this morning, I'm trying to change the colour and font size of a caption.  Captivate won't let me.

If I select the colour or size buttons nothing happens.

I've used Captivate a lot (but am not an advanced user) but have never experienced this before.

Just to check what has been corrupted, because it looks like a corruption, could you please create a new project and try out the work flow: do you have the same problems?

I also can't seem to be able to change success actions on a click box.  Only option seems to be Go to next slide.
