Can't open Captivate 6

Since this morning I'm not able to open Captivate 6 or any of my Captivate projects. If I try opening it as administrator I have to click okay on the following checkbox, but that is all that is happening. I haven't shut down my computer properly yesterday, but that can't be the reason, can it? What can I do to get Captivate running again???

First, reboot your computer and try again to launch Captivate. 

If that doesn't work, rename or delete your Preferences folder and try again.  (There are plenty of threads on this forum about how to do this.) 

If that doesn't work, try reinstalling Captivate.

Thanks for the help! Unfortunately I really had to reinstall Captivate. What a mess!
