Can't open Captivate8 file using trial version

I downloaded a free 30 day trial of Captivate 8, and I can't open a Captivate 8 file that was created by one of our designers to make edits. The trial says that I do not have permissions to do this.

    Do you launch CP as administrator?

    That may be due to the file still being locked out to the other designer.  Check if there are Lock files present in the directory where the CPTX is located.  I'm assuming from this that you were trying to open this file from a network LAN.  If so, DON'T!  Copy the CPTX to your local hard drive before trying to open it.

    The next thing you're probably going to be complaining about (in a month or so) is that all the content you edited with this trial version has suddenly stopped working.  That's because the trial version also adds a 30 day timeout to content.
