Can't open PDFs in my published Captivate 8 course in Cornerstone!

I created a digital course in Captivate 8 and published to Cornerstone and cannot open the PDFs in the course! I created buttons in Captivate that open a URL linking to a PDF (hosted somewhere else). This worked when I tested in preview mode and also in a free icloud. When I publish in Cornerstone and try to open the PDF it closes the course window and closes me out of the course completely. Has anyone else had this problem and if yes, is there a way I can troubleshoot? Please help!

    You certainly have to be sure those Captivate links are set to open in a new browser window...

    If they are, and you can demonstrate that on a website (or any other non-Cornerstone LMS), then it has to be a Cornerstone issue... Their LMS is somehow overriding the 'new window' option. Perhaps its some setting to prevent users from looking at other websites while in a course?

    Definitely something to talk to the LMS vendor about, especially if it works as you expect in the 'free icloud account'.

    (you may want to test in the SCORM Cloud too, if you haven't already)

    Alternatively, can you not download the PDF, include it WITH your piece, and point to that instead of a PDF at a different URL? At least to see if that works, where shooting the user out to a different browser/URL plainly doesn't (in Cornerstone)...
