Question

Can't Pause Video on iPhones

When viewing an Adobe Captivate course that I created on an iPhone, any videos in the course go fullscreen as a result of Apple's restrictions. While it would be preferable if all videos played inline as they do on every other device, I can live with it; however, the real problem is that the videos cannot be paused or stopped... at all. When the pause button is pressed, the video stutters and keeps on playing. The only way to stop the video from playing is to close Safari. Considering other video on the web can be paused in the iOS Safari browser, this seems to be an issue related to Captivate. Has anyone else come across this, and has anyone found a solution?

I'm using Captivate 8 multi-slide videos encoded in MP4 format.

Does this issue occur when the videos are inserted into the Captivate project as Event Videos or as Multi-Slide Synchronized Videos?
