Can't scroll when playing simulation tutorial.

Hello, I know it's basic,  but I can't do it properly.  I have done an interactive simulation in tutorial recording mode. I tried with both full screen and custom size screen and tried both automatic and manual panning (manual being hte right one I believe), but when I play it back it just doesn't let me scroll up or down the screen with my mouse. Could you let me know what I am doing wrong?

    Scrolling will not be possible (I don't think with any screen capture application) out of the box. When there is a scrolling event during capture, Captivate will switch to Full Motion Recording mode and show the scrolling, but the user will not be abal to scroll himself.

    Alternatives: instead of scrolling, clicking on the up or down button in the scrollbar, clicking on the scroll bar? Or if you want it more realistic, you'll need the Slider Component widget of Infosemantics (SWF output only): http://www.infosemantics.com.au/adobe-captivate-widgets/slider-component
