Can't upgrade to Captivate 11.8.1

I have version 11.5.5 and it tells me that I am up-to-date. Why can I not get  11.8.1?

In such a case probably its time to contact Adobe support. To contact support follow the instructions given below
1. Go to https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen
2. Wait a bit on the page that opens up, it should automatically open a chat popup. If that does not happen then look for a call out/chat icon at the bottom right, click over it and the chat popup should open
3. In order to talk to a human type "AGENT" in the chat box
4. If you are not able to get to the chat window, then disable your adblockers, firewall, enable cookies/scripts on your browser. If it still fails then change your browser/machine/network.

Hello !...

You can't update to 11.8.1 from the 11.5.5 !...

You must first install 11.8. Then you will have access to the last update...

Are you on a Mac? Per the release notes this is a Windows-only update. https://helpx.adobe.com/captivate/release-note/adobe-captivate-11-8-1-release-notes.html

also, make sure you restarted your computer and closed captivate in order to update.  you can start the update from captivate's help menu while it's open, but when prompted, close it.

I am running an Asus ZenBook with i7 processor (UX433FN) and all my specs exceed what is needed.
