Can you embed a PDF file in Captivate without having access to the FTP folder?

I would like to embed a pdf file into my captivate file without having access to he FTP folder.

I want the user to click on a button and open up the pdf on their computer.

    You cannot embed a PDF inside an SWF.  You need to upload the PDF file to the same folder on the web server where the main content files will be located.  If you put the PDF in the same folder as the main SWF, then you can just use the filename of the PDF as your relative link to it inside Captivate.  But either way, that PDF still needs to get uploaded there.
