Can you initiate an action with rollover text?

Question

I was looking at the Rollover Area on the my page and don't see any other actions that can be applied to it. Of course, that doesn't mean it's impossible (maybe it is), just that I don't know how to do that.

Is it possible to change a variable, say, with the Rollover Area?

It is not possible with the rollover area of a rollover caption (I think that is the one you thought about?) but it is possible with the rollover area of the rollover slidelet. That one has two events that can trigger an (advanced) action: rollover and click.
