Can you use fluid box with a downloaded powerpoint?

I'm working with a downloaded powerpoint presentation and want to add some slide but the fluid box is not working.  Is it possible to use the fluid box feature when working with a powerpoint download?

    I really would never dream about using PPT-slides in a responsive project workflow, whether it is with Fluid Boxes or Breakpoint views.

    If you want it to be responsive, please unzip the ppt file, get out all the assets, import them in the Library of a new cptx and create from scratch.
