Question

Canceling Subscription/Avoiding Autorenewal

When I try to cancel my subscription/avoid autorenewal, Adobe says I have to contact customer support via online chat, and then does not provide any link to the supposed chat.

I have already been billed because I went over the renewal date while I was trying to find a way to contact support. Needless to say, all Adobe's emails are sent from no-reply addresses.

Making it hard to cancel or even access support is very, very scammy and indicative of a dying company that's trying to conserve revenue as its hemorrhages customers.

Hi Rajeev, I must agree with the others .Following your link just brings me to a chat area after going thought some questions. Then it is saying chat not available and click onto the forums and bring me straight back here. I too need some help I have a Creative Cloud membership and a Captivate subscription. Work is now providing me with the same so I don't need 2 captivate and creative cloud so I don't want to auto renew on my anniversary. I am happy however to keep it going until then ( July  for CC and November for Captivate).

So could you please contact me.

I had the same issue and finally just emailed Customer support.

Ironically, three weeks later I renewed.

I'm not sure I'd call Adobe a dying company - just curious why do you think that? I'm fairly new to eLearning development and it seems like Captivate and Articulate are the two dominate tools.
