Candidates record video answer to preset questions?

Hi

I'm wondering if captivate can be used in a recruitment capacity?

Specifically, I want to have a preset list of questions that candidates can record themselves answering.

Any advice is much appreciated.

    Kathleen,

I think what you are asking is "Can I use a webcam in Captivate to record a video?"

As Lilybiri has mentioned Captivate cannot do that, however, you may be able to do it by putting your webcam control on a webpage, and then accessing that page through a WebObject on a Captivate slide.

I don't use video, but I'm sure other members of the forum will be able to help with technical details.

    here is an example.

You seem to be confused (newbie?). Recording with Captivate can only be done when each of the respondent has a license for Captivate. A published course, created with Captivate, whether to SWF or to HTML5 doesn't have a capturing functionality. That is only the case in developing mode when you are working with a 'raw' cptx or cpvc file.

It is possible to get the answers from the respondents when using a LMS or an internal server, but that is not a captured video.
