Cannot delete image blocks

I recently upgraded to 12.4 and I am no longer able to delete image blocks in a  project previously created in 12.3. Clicking on the image and pressing the delete key does not do it. Selection the item in the timeline and pressing delete does not work either. Any ideas as to why?

      Is the image you're trying to delete on a different state? I had that issue where I was trying to delete an image from an Image Block, but it was entirely unresponsive. I checked the image and moved it back from Hover State to Normal State and could then interact with it.
