Hello,

I created a file using Captivate 5.5 last month and after I converted it to captivate 6 it worked very well.

This week when I opened it, all the text content disappeared, like transparent.

There are 40 slides and I inserted a video to the project last week.

At first I worked well and I was also be able to published it.

But now it's not working...and it always shows "Publish faliure".

When I open the file, it comes up "Free diskspace is very low. Recover some hard disk space by clearing the project cache".

Last time I did clear the caches, this time I remebered not to clear and want to know what to do.

Thank you!!

Weiwei

    Hi There,

    Welcome To Adobe Forum.

Please make sure that the system (or the location where you are saving and publishing the output) has sufficient disk space.

Also try to copy paste the project to a blank project and then see if the text is again transparent

i wanted to know have you applied some text effects or changed text format behaviour in the project or not.

Also have you imported the text inside captivate or did you typed in inside the project.

    Thanks

    Loveesh

My disk space is truly low, and I will figure it out.

When I copied any slide to a new project, Captivate will close itself.

All my text were copied from a PPT instead of typed by me.

    Thank you for your reply.

    Hi there

When you say your text was "copied from PowerPoint", does that mean you edited the PPT, copied the text, then pasted into an Adobe Captivate Text Caption object? Or does it mean you took the PPT and IMPORTED it into Captivate?

If you imported it, the whole slide background is a Flash SWF. (That means any changes to the text must first occur in PPT, then you update Captivate to pull in the changes)

    Cheers... Rick
