Cant't create project using existing Power Point presentation..help

I got Captivate 9.0 installed on my computer and I am a new user. I have taken the tutorials and training everything seems to work with the exception of the Power Point functionality....any thoughts, suggestions?

    Hi,

    Can you explain what exactly is not working for you regarding the Powerpoint functionality? Are you able to import existing PowerPoint presentations or PPTX?

    Not at all.  I tried different presentations and nothing happens.  I go to my task manager and it shows that Captivate is running but nothing happens nor can I select anything on the screen..  If quite frustrating....

    Can you tell me which OS you are using as well as which version of Powerpoint ? Also, are you able to open these presentations by themselves?
