Canvas LMS Users?

Our school uses Canvas LMS, but I don't see much recently about using captivate (especially 2017) with Canvas.  Is there a user group or additional information somewhere I'm missing?

Just a few weeks ago, last tried. It could be a configuration issue on our implementation. I wasn't pressed and our support folks are busy enough so wasn't worth adding to the queue. Plainly lots of other folks have luck, and very cool you did too!

Best bet is to visit the Canvas user forums. There's lots there about SCORM in general, and some about Captivate.

Overall, it seems with their primary focus being education, Instructure isn't placing much emphasis on SCORM support (and/or because it's a dying spec). You can do SCORM...within Assignments only...and it's not simple. A more advanced Rustici version (as a Canvas App) is available, but it's not free.

I tried it briefly at my institution's Canvas install and it didn't work at all - like there was no SCORM support whatsoever. After reading the various Canvas forums, I didn't even file a ticket. Our institutions don't officially support SCORM anyway, so it was more a 'nice to have' in from my perspective, but it's not something I'd fight for.

At any rate, it is supposedly possible, and may work well if you don't mind SCORM communication being restricted to Assignments only, but it will take some research and likely help from your Canvas rep.

When did you try it? I've been in the Canvas forums and got the SCORM integration enabled so I've successfully uploaded an interactive activity as an assignment.  I guess I just need to keep playing with it.  Appreciate your input.
