Canvas size Limitations

I am experimenting with captivate 8...

And i have run into a small problem.

Currently i am creating a multi screen interactive program/presentation.

I have a maxtor triplehead linked to my pc which "fuses" my 3 screens into 1.

giving me a resolution of 3840x768 for now....

but when ever i to set the canvas size of my project to that size (3840px) it always jumps back to 3200x768

it seams like it is "capped" at 3200 px..

any way i can uncap that ..?

(or can anyone tell me of captivate 9 does not have this problem..?)

thank,

Jean Marc

Can you explain why you need such a resolution for any eLearning course? This would mean that only users with a retina screen could ever watch that course, that the file size will be very big which could create issues as well. Or do you perhaps use Captivate for something different than for eLearning?

The largest standard (Blank) project you can create in Adobe Captivate 9.0.2 is 3200 x 3200. Typing anything larger into the custom fields will revert back to these numbers.
