Cap4 - LMS Completion Issues

I've successfully used Captivate 3 to create a series of courses for our LMS (Hummingbird), and have now moved on to Captivate 4. However, my learners are now finding that our LMS is not giving proper completion credit, regardless of how many times they access and run through the courses. This seems to be happening now for courses created in Captivate 3 & 4. I went so far as to set up our LCR so that credit is given upon access, instead of completion. Basically, these guys should be getting completion credit just for opening the course.

There is no trend with regard to operating system (some are XP, others Win7), browser (we've tested them all...IE7, IE8, Chrome, Opera, FireFox) or Flash version (everyone is on Flash 10). HOWEVER, it seems as if the only folks who can successfully get course credit have an earlier version of Java (Version 6, Update 21 or below). Everyone who has this issue seems to be on Java Version 6, Update 22.

Has anyone else run into a similar issue?

We don't use Hummingbird, but our LMS Settings include an option called 'Finish causes immediate commit'; this is needed when suerver traffic delays the information sent back to the LMS after the course is closed.  You might check your LMS Settings for something similar ... good luck!
