Caption Feedback

Is there a way to add images or video to coincide with caption feedback... An example would be an instructor (video) walking onto the screen and giving feedback vs only having the text caption with audio.

Hi rydogg73

Are you referring to feedback captions that result from clicking in the wrong area or by providing an incorrect answer? Or are you simply looking for how one might accomplish this within the normal viewing of Captivate by an end user?

Cheers... Rick

I am referring to the feedback captions that are displayed on click events.

Hi again

Well, I know that if you wish an Image to display instead of the normal caption, you can do this. You just edit the caption, remove any text, then click the drop-down to choose the Caption type. Scroll all the way to the bottom and select "Browse". You then browse to the image of your choice.

I'm thinking that video feedback (although interesting) wouldn't be accomplished this way. But what you could do is to have the event branch to a different slide that played the video. Then when the different slide finished, it could branch back.

Just a thought... Rick
