Caption text is pixelating when I publish captivate

In a transparent caption, I add text, sized in the color black, verdana 9. It looks great within captivate, but when I publish the text looks really bad, like it is pixelating. Any ideas, or workarounds?

    Am I hallucinating? I did not republish the captivate. Now some of the pages on this captivate that I published hours ago, seem to be working. I mean they are working on the same computer with same resolution.

    Not sure what is going on....

    Hi Dave

    Try editing the caption. Press Ctrl+End to position the cursor at the end of the text. Press Enter two or three times. Now press Ctrl+End again so the cursor is on the last line. Apply a bullet to the line. Once you do this and dismiss the dialog, size the caption so you don't see the extra lines and the bullet.

    I'm not sure why, but the presence of a bullet causes the caption not to be anti-aliased.

    Hi, thanks for the input. Tried it, not much luck. Problem with text on page 1 with no bullets. (click menu on top right for navigation). On subsequent pages with bullets, tried what you suggested. No luck. Can add a bullet point after some blank lines, can resize the irrelevant bullet point away, however cannot resize the caption to hide the bullet points. In any event still pixelating. Am I misunderstanding?

    Hi there

    What happens if you click Edit > Preferences... > Project and place a check mark in the check box labeled: Don't Anti-alias Captions? Does that change anything?
