Captivate 12 - Can't have more than one video in a vertically scrolling course?

I'd love to make a course that scrolls vertically rather than slide by slide, but I have a video to play before each section and it appears you can only add a single video per slide? Any idea what is going on here?

    You can place more than one of the video grid elements on a slide. Just set each to display one video.

    AFAIK there are two video template slides: the first has 1 video, the second up to 6 videos.

    As for scrolling vertically instead of the slide approach, do you know any authoring tool which allows that so far?
