Captivate 13.1.0.197 Check for Updates opens Creative Cloud app, not standalone updater

The title explains the problem. Not sure how the update link switched to the CC app. I can’t check for updates from the software.

This is happening to me as well. I was told to update to 13.1.1 for a bug fix, but when I click Check for Updates it launches the Creative Cloud Desktop with no way to update Captivate.

I could not find a stand-alone updater so I downloaded the trial. Unfortunately, I had to fill out the form and now I’ll get annoying calls and emails about buying it! 😒

The update process works properly now.
